ELITE 23

PRO23

The purpose and objectives for IEP Soccer's CCL Florida Pro23 Men's and Women's programs is to provide the U15-U23 players the opportunity to remain competitive and involved with the club on a full-time basis throughout the Spring season and the summer months. The CCL Pro23 Men's and Women's teams will compete as a squad for the Spring season, attending one additional College Showcase between March and May. Once the Spring season is complete, the CCL Florida Pro23 Men's and Women's teams will then compete during the summer months as a squad in the CCL Florida Pro23 League.

The purpose and objectives for the CCL Florida Pro23 is to provide former and current CCL players, and current collegiate players an opportunity to find professional, meaningful training as well as superior competition during the Summer months, during their off-season, all while preparing them for a successful collegiate season in the fall.

IEP Soccer will use the league and platform to provide our U15-U19 players the opportunity to gain valuable experience playing with and against older players, which will prepare them for college and future higher-level competitions.

STANDARDS & EXPECTATIONS

The CCL Florida Pro23 Men's and Women's programs are a completely separate and additional program in the club. The program does not affect any current or future selection and decisions for the youth teams at any age group within IEP Soccer. The program is not designed to take anything away from the player, but instead was created to offer players additional opportunities to train and compete at a higher level.

The CCL Florida Pro23 Men's and Women's teams will compete in one additional College Showcase during the spring months. However, only 18 players, including two goalkeepers, will be selected for each and any showcase roster. No player is guaranteed to make a showcase roster, and if selected, no player is guaranteed any amount of playing time at a showcase. Players are paying to train in the program and then earn the opportunity to compete in the additional College Showcases.

Once the CCL Pro23 Men's and Women's teams complete the Spring season, and the program moves into the Summer season and the CCL Pro23 League, ALL training sessions are mandatory Players cannot miss any event without clearing it with the coach before being selected for the team at tryouts. As during the Spring season, 18 players will be selected for any game-day roster, including two goalkeepers, and no player is guaranteed to be selected for any roster or, if selected, any amount of playing time at a game. Players are paying to train in the program and then earn the opportunity to compete in games.

MCCL Elite 23 will provide former MCCL players and current collegiate players an opportunity to find professional, meaningful training as well as superior competition during the summer months, (during their off-season) all while preparing them for a successful collegiate season in the fall.

“The CCL Florida continues to be the progressive league in the country by adding Pro23 to its player development pyramid,” said Mayowa Owolabi, IEP Soccer President.

Pro23 becomes the apex of the CCL Florida Player Development Pathway and we are excited as a club that participate in the league. This allows us to now extend the long-term developmental opportunities for soccer players ages eight through 23, and older.

"CCL Pro23 is a player retention opportunity creating a bridge between clubs and college programs.  The CCL have over 1000 student-athletes playing collegiate soccer at all levels.  We are excited to expand the IEP Soccer Player Development Pathway to players who are playing in college, and who would love to continue playing at their local club.  The CCL Florida produces top talent and fantastic match environments.  College programs know they have a reputable league not only to find their next top talent but now a league to help enhance their program’s players in the off-season,” said Owolabi.

More information about the program and the coaching staff will be released as we approach the 2021 season!

Schedules, scores and standings will be posted on the league website.
